Martin Albrecht AC is a member of CEDA's Board of Governors, an advisory body comprised of eminent Australians.
Martin Albrecht was Chairman of Thiess (having previously been the company's Chief Executive) and a Non-Executive Director of Leighton Holdings over a quarter of a century. He is currently Chairman of Exergen, and most recently retired as Chairman of Geodynamics. His wide-ranging government and community involvements include chairmanship of the Wesley Research Institute and founding Chair of the International RiverFoundation.
Martin Albrecht was made a Companion of the Order of Australia for service to the construction industry, export markets, the engineering profession and the community, and he is a recipient of the Centenary Medal. He has received the Australian Constructors Association and QUT Distinguished Constructors Awards, Honorary Doctorates from the University of Queensland, QUT University SA, and is an Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia.
