CEDA's new website will deliver better service to our members
and customers. This new website has many benefits including:
improved functionality through online event registration; increased
user control through profile management and email alert options and
an improved and easy to use members' only section which provides
immediate access to a rich and interconnected repository of
information from CEDA research and events.
What has
changed?
Improved functionality
- Secure online event registration is now available using SSL
certificates and 256 bit encryption.
- Increased user control, through profile management and email
alert options for members
- Better provision of customer service through richer customer
data such as preference setting, saving you time from researching
topics and events of interests and filtering your inbox.
Better information dissemination
- Improved multimedia access that links back to the related event
details and related research, online ACE articles and upcoming
events.
- Stylised pages for each CEDA core function (Events, Membership,
Research and Policy and About CEDA), simplifying site navigation
which makes finding information easier.

EVENT REGISTRATION AND EMAILS

Yes. Please contact your local CEDA office for assistance.
I'm getting a message that says members' only event, why can't
I register?
CEDA hold a number of members' only events over the year
including trustee-only briefings on relevant business and policy
issues, professional development programs, and roundtables on key
political and economic issues. These events provide a unique,
personal environment for gaining new insights and expanding
business and knowledge networks. To find out about CEDA
membership, please visit our website or contact your local CEDA office.
Why do I get an error message saying there are duplicate
emails?
Occasionally we experience duplicate records in our database. To
ensure data accuracy we need you to contact your local CEDA
office to ensure we have the correct information in your
record.
I
don't have a credit card, can I still register?
Yes but not via our online registration. You can pay by
Electronic Funds Transfer and cheque payment options. Please
complete the PDF registration form and either fax or email it back
to your local CEDA office.
How many people can I
register?
It is possible to register a maximum of 10 attendees on one
registration. To register more guests you can enter the attendees
under separate transactions, you can contact your local CEDA
office for assistance.
Can I purchase a
corporate table?
Only members can purchase corporate tables.
Why do I receive a prompt/error
message when I receive CEDA emails?
I am using Lotus Notes and the prompt message below is shown
when I receive CEDA emails:
"The internet service certificate is not trusted. Do you
want to take corrective action now (ie. retrieve service
certificate and decide whether to trust it)?"
This is because your Lotus Notes client does not have a
cross-certificate to this specific certificate.
To create a cross-certificate, please follow the steps
below:
1) Select the Yes button in the first prompt.
2) Select the Connect button on the Retrieve Service Certificate
box.
3) Select Cross Certify button at the Cross Certify box.
This will only need to be done once and you should then be able
to open CEDA email's without any message prompts. Please contact
your IT department if you have further queries.

and the ACE online magazine?
