Membership Administrator Sydney


CEDA is a highly respected and independent not for profit member-based organisation seeking an experienced Membership Administrator to join its Sydney team.

Position overview

CEDA NSW are looking for an individual with a strong administration background, ideally in database management, who identifies with its purpose of good policy outcomes to improve the economic and social outcomes for all Australians. 

As the Membership Administrator you will be responsible for all aspects of membership administration including; records management, data processing, invoicing, billing, reconciliations and the scheduling of member meetings for members in NSW and the ACT.

You must be proactive, persistent and have strong deadline management ability.

This is a part time 6 month contract position with possible extension. You will be required to work 2.5 days a week and must be available for the weekly team meeting on a Monday morning. Flexibility is offered for the remainder of the week.

Strong CRM database skills essential (e.g.: IMIS, Salesforce, Raisers Edge, etc)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver a high level of customer service to existing and new members by records management;
  • Proactively chase membership renewal payments: invoicing and reconciliation;
  • Responsible for overseeing all records relevant to memberships - update via the iMIS database;
  • Support and proactively communicate with Membership Engagement Manager;
  • Schedule all membership engagement meetings for new and renewing members; and
  • Audit member records annually.

Professional and personal attributes (including qualifications and experience)

  • Experience using iMIS;
  • 2 years minimum experience in an administration role;
  • High attention to detail; and
  • A strong interest in current affairs and be curious about the 'big issues' impacting the economic development of Australia.
