Position overview

CEDA NSW are looking for an individual with an interest in current affairs and Australia's economic prosperity.

As the Membership Engagement Manager, you will be solely responsible for all aspects of membership retention and recruitment in NSW & ACT.

You must be a proactive self-starter who is outcome orientated and able to handle multiple priorities while producing consistently high quality results. The ability to build sustainable relationships with member stakeholders is key.

You will have responsibility for the budget and have a direct line-of-sight of the Membership Administrator, overseeing timely annual renewals, payment and record keeping.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver a high level of customer service to existing and prospect CEDA members;
  • Develop a membership engagement plan including actively pursuing membership leads via CEDA's events;
  •  On-board and update all member records ensuring all appointments are current;
  •  Actively manage and monitor membership renewal process;
  • Support State Director for State Advisory Council meetings with agenda, RSVP and notes circulation;
  • Attending regular member focused events, seminars and conferences;
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve business systems, business tools and services relating to membership.

Professional and personal attributes (including qualifications and experience)

  • Be ambitious with a demonstrated relationship building ability;
  • Be degree qualified with experience in marketing and business development;
  • Have previous project management experience;
  • Have excellent communication skills;
  • Have a strong interest in current affairs and be curious about the ‘big issues’ impacting the economic development of Australia.
