CEDA's Transport Series will run in multiple states
including VIC, NSW, WA and QLD. The series will explore a range of
transport issues for the movement of both freight and people.
Topics to be explored include productivity and innovation,
utilisation of existing infrastructure, investment and funding of
new infrastructure, planning and integration, and capacity
issues.

CEDA's Women in Leadership Series aims to advance the
cultural and organisational change required to progress more women
to leadership positions, and how to address the current workplace
gender gap. In 2013, this event series runs alongside CEDA's
research in this area, with a report to be released in June,
2013.

In 2013, CEDA's Water Series will be run in WA and VIC.
WA will explore how the State can secure its water
supplies for the future and the role of water policy. Victoria will
look at the role of emerging technologies and innovation, and
management practices for effective and sustainable use of water for
urban, rural and irrigation purposes.

CEDA will continue to examine issues surrounding Australia's
energy and resources as they remain dominant on the national
agenda. In the 2013 Energy and Resources Series
events will be held in QLD, VIC, NSW and WA.

CEDA will host vision and leadership event series in NSW and SA.
NSW will again run their successful CIO Vision Series
and their CEO Series, bringing experts and leaders to
the CEDA platform to share their experiences with attendees. The
SA Vision Series will feature high
calibre speakers from business, government and the broader
community.

This NSW series is designed for those working in professional
communications. These morning sessions share the perspectives of
expert commentators and communicators on vital themes including
economics and finance, domestic and international politics,
innovation, social communications and the information landscape as
well as employment and productivity.

The WA Future of Work Series will explore what
future workplaces will look like and what challenges and
opportunities they will need to adapt to, whether they be
technological, cultural or leadership related. The future of work
is a focus as part of CEDA's Australia Adjusting research
in 2013.

This series, to be conducted throughout the regions of WA in 2013
and 2014, will look at the current state of each region and assess
the opportunities and challenges they may face in the medium to
long term.

The inequity of health, education and employment standards for
Indigenous Australians remain at unacceptably high levels, despite
annual government expenditure of approximately $22 billion. Join
CEDA in WA to examine what is being done to improve standards,
governance structures and Indigenous targets.

In 2013 hear from a panel of expert commentators who will
share their local knowledge and insights into the flourishing
business potential of India. In 2012 CEDA's WA
International Series included forums with senior
representatives from Australia's most important trade partners, and
developing nations that hold enormous potential for Australian
businesses, including Indonesia, the United States, Africa and
China.
