B4MD Summit: improve business, reduce poverty

The B4MD summit in Melbourne on 24 October will discuss ways for business to engage with low-income communities in emerging markets.

CEDA is lending its support to the Business for Millennium Development (B4MD) National Business Summit in Melbourne on 24 October.

B4MD is a new initiative that encourages Australian businesses to help reduce poverty by creating new markets and business opportunities in developing countries.

It is formally recognised by the United Nations and the Australian Government.

The Summit will bring together some of the world's thought and industry leaders to explore opportunities and case studies in the areas of Operations, Governance, Procurement and Supply.

10% discount for CEDA members

It is rare for CEDA to lend its support to an external initiative, but we believe Australia can only benefit from improving economic outcomes for developing markets.

We have secured a 10% discount on the registration fee for you as a CEDA trustee and for your employees.

For more information, please see the B4MD website.
