2008 International Counterparts Conference: Bolivia 2008

The 2008 Conference of the International Network of Private Business Organizations will take place on 11-13 September 2008, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

The general theme will be the balance between free market economies and social inequality and what can be done, at national and international levels, by governments and by civil society, both at structural and at institutional levels, in order to ameliorate standards of living and avoid social unrest, undesirable immigration and other negative effects? What is the role of the private sector?

The conference will be hosted by CEDA counterpart CEAL (the Business Council of Latin America), which links 18 countries across central and south America.

More information, including the conference program, will be available here once it is finalised.
