Brett Lightfoot


Brett Lightfoot is a member of CEDA's State Advisory Council in Queensland.

As State Director Brett is responsible for the overall Microsoft business in Queensland and Northern Territory . This includes meeting the needs of Microsoft’s enterprise customers across both commercial and public sector, as well as supporting a diverse range of business partners who develop , deploy and manage a wide range of innovative business solutions built on the Microsoft platform. The Microsoft Queensland business also runs one of two Microsoft Innovation Centers in Australia which proudly support emerging businesses, students, entrepreneurs and start-up companies.

Brett has over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry and is passionate about creative and innovative solutions that can change people’s lives and foster economic development. 

Prior to Microsoft Brett held positions of  State Director for Nortel QLD and National Professional Services Manager for Getronics Australia. Brett holds a Degree in Industrial Design and loves to apply design principles to innovation in software and services.
