Maree Arnason


Maree Arnason is a member of CEDA's State Advisory Council in Western Australia.
 An experienced director and senior executive, Maree’s career has spanned 30 years in the resources, energy and manufacturing sectors with companies including BHP, Carter Holt Harvey and Wesfarmers and has significant leadership expertise working in complex corporate and project environments with a focus on risk and reputation.

Maree is a NED of ASX-listed Sandfire Resources NL, a Co-Founder/Director of Energy Access Services, who operate an independent and automated WA-focused wholesale gas trading platform and a member of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) Director Advisory Panel.  An active not-for-profit contributor for 25 years, Maree serves on the Juniper Board – one of WA’s largest aged care community benefit organisations, a remote Pilbara School Board and is a life member and past National Director of the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) and a serving member of their WA Executive Committee. Maree was recognised as one of the Top100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining in 2018.
