Conditions of entry

For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all CEDA guests, staff and participants, CEDA has the following conditions of entry to CEDA events.

Safety at CEDA events: COVID-19 event advice

Your safety, and that of CEDA and venue staff is paramount. CEDA has worked with venues to ensure that social distancing can be maintained and facilities and equipment have been properly sanitised. Attendance numbers adhere to government guidelines.

In line with government advice we request people that are unwell with cough or fever or other respiratory symptoms do not attend CEDA events. We also ask that you follow government advice and maintain social distancing by refraining from shaking hands or exchanging physical greetings, and wherever possible, staying at least 1.5 metres away from others.

Please consider if additional bags/coats/umbrellas that would typically be placed in cloakroom facilities are necessary to reduce contact points with venue staff.

Low touchpoint registration using QR scanning from your mobile device form part of the new event registration process eliminating the need for name tags.

CEDA will continue to closely monitor government advice regarding public gatherings and act on relevant health advice from the Australian government in relation to COVID-19.

Conditions of entry

  • Attendees may be requested to present their bags for inspection;
  • CEDA may require bags/coats/umbrellas to be checked into cloakroom facilities. Please consider what items you bring to CEDA events that may require cloaking, to reduce contact with venue staff;

  • Attendees cannot distribute unauthorised materials inside or outside the event room;
  • CEDA may require a person’s proof of identity;
  • CEDA may refuse entry or remove from the room any unauthorised person;
