Beyond the Blog, brighter than Twitter, there's much more to talk about at CEDA's Breakfast on the Run series.

In 2011, Breakfast on the Run provides face-to-face expert breakfast briefings for CEDA members with four leading professionals from the communications industry.

Breakfast on the Run will provide short, sharp and to-the-point gatherings with in-depth analysis and opportunities for dynamic exchange with a new network of peers. This series will focus on key aspects of Australia's economic and social development in the 21st century.

Designed for those working in professional communications, these morning sessions share the perspectives of expert commentators and communicators on vital themes - economics and finance, domestic and international politics, social communications and the information landscape, innovation, employment and productivity. Guests will be encouraged to test and share their views before starting the working day.

In the second session for the series, Peter Ryan, ABC News Business Editor, will examine The business news cycle - managing in a 24/7 world. With the ever increasing methods of communication, it is now more important than ever to assess how, as professional communicators, we interact with members of the community regarding economic policy, corporate responsibility and genuine news.

The series has wide appeal with unique access to renowned thoughts leaders.
