2012 will be a year of change.

A national price on carbon, international market volatility, an ageing population, sectoral skill shortages, and a two-speed economy are significantly impacting economic planning and management.

CEDA's annual Economic and Political Overview (EPO), Australia's premier series of briefings on the economic and political outlook, will address the current uncertainty.

EPO previews the Australian economy and politics - at state and federal levels - and dovetails with CEDA's EPO research report publication, providing senior executives with insights and information on the operating environment over the next twelve months.

The theme of EPO 2012 is Federalism and Productivity and CEDA is delighted to welcome to the platform in Sydney a distinguished line-up of speakers.

Economic Outlook:

  • Dr Philip Lowe, Assistant Governor (Economic), Reserve Bank of Australia
  • Rob Henderson, Chief Economist, Markets, National Australia Bank
