What will 2012 hold for the commercial property sector?

It has been reported that the Australian property market is well placed for the year ahead with strong offshore investor interest, but the outlook is still uncertain and carries some identifiable risks. Businesses and investors must continue to respond to the subdued global economy and its impacts on confidence and tighter credit conditions.

Now in its 6th year, CEDA's annual property update will present a broad picture on economic dynamics across the commercial property sector nationally and internationally.

CEDA welcomes Matthew Quinn, Managing Director of Stockland to provide a comparative property market outlook for 2012. Matthew will be joined by industry expert Peter Barnes, Head of Property Lending within Institutional Banking at Commonwealth Bank of Australia to provide commentary on economic and market trends impacting the Australian property market outlook.
