In a global business environment, with increased competition and advances in research and technologies, having a clear innovation agenda is more important than ever.

CEDA recognises that long-term, continued commitment by policy makers, industry, and research organisations is needed to achieve beneficial economic and social outcomes.

CEDA will examine the current policy settings and invite leading commentators to discuss and debate:

•  Industry transformations - are we ready to change the national mindset?
•  Connecting business, government and the research sector - what more can be done? Case studies of success
•  Knowledge Capital - research collaboration and attracting the best minds around the globe
• Tax Treatment of R&D in Australia and R&D incentives as a lever to attract and retain investment
•  All systems go - do we have the framework in place to encourage adoption of new technologies, processes, diversity of skills?

The forum represents a compelling opportunity to discuss policy outcomes that reflect the needs and insights of key stakeholders and innovators.
