Event overview

Throughout its history CEDA has maintained a focus on the areas of diversity and gender equity. In more recent times, the issue of women in leadership has taken on a prominent position in our events program which has prompted us to drill down into the issues through our research and policy program.

CEDA's 2013 Women in Leadership: Understanding the gender gap report will examine three issues: women in society, women in the workforce and women in leadership, providing a state of play of each topic and drawing on the discussions from CEDA events together with commentary by contributors chosen from experts in the field.

The report will make recommendations drawn from the body of evidence, including any reforms for consideration by government and business. In addition CEDA is conducting a survey to gain insight into the key policy issues of the debate, and will be used to support CEDA's policy recommendations.

We encourage you to attend this report launch, and invite your colleagues and clients, to access the current thinking in this space and learn about CEDA's recommendations for improving Australia's record in the gender equity arena.
