CEDA welcomes Minister for Resources and Energy, Gary Gray to deliver the keynote address at CEDA's second NSW Energy Series event for 2013.
The energy sector contributes nearly $70 billion of gross value added to the economy, and Australian energy exports account for one-third of total commodity exports (BREE and ABS: 2012).
However, the industry faces stark challenges from productivity concerns through to complex stakeholder needs.
The Minister's address will explore:
Energy reform priorities at government and industry level;
Improving market and regulatory efficiencies;
New technologies and alternative energy sources;
Current and future energy demands; and
Preserving unique resources and consumer education.

With 2020 targets for renewables energy looming, this forum will challenge what we view as conventional energy sources and delivery methods and examine how developments in the unconventional energy sector affect your business.

Industry leaders will draw on real-life case studies to provide attendees with a range of current and emerging energy sources to compare, experience and learn from.

How will your business capitalise on the economic opportunities presented by diverse energy sources?
