Event overview

As acknowledged in CEDA's 2015 research report, Addressing entrenched disadvantage in AustraliaAustralia's corporate sector is increasingly coming to acknowledge the value of implementing corporate social responsibility and pro-bono programs into their business models.

Ensuring how we maximise this effort for the benefit of those who need support the most should be a priority for both the corporate and social purpose sector alike.

Leveraging expertise, access to capital, and utilising the right information and data are critical building blocks towards ensuring the corporate sector are meeting the needs of their social purpose partners to achieve social outcomes.

As part of the CEDA NSW Breakfast on the Run series, this event will address:

  • Priorities for the social purpose sector in education, employment, housing and indigenous affairs;
  • Understanding the structural causes behind persistent disadvantage and developing innovative approaches that can create systemic change;
  • Working with corporates to develop community engagement and employment strategies to empower disadvantaged citizens; and
  • Providing Governments with strategy, measurement and evaluation consulting to improve their service delivery.

This event is a CEDA member only event. Registrations are exclusively available to CEDA members.

Public event advice – Coronavirus

We at CEDA are proud to regularly convene and engage speakers and audiences as an essential element of our efforts to broaden discussion and debate of the most important policy issues facing Australia. In doing so, our first priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff.

With that in mind CEDA has suspended all public and trustee events. However CEDA remains true to its purpose of providing platforms to inform and promote debate of critical issues and driving policy solutions and are continuing critical discussions for Australia’s economic, social and environmental development through a digital events program including exclusive livestreams, podcasts and video, as well as our virtual Trustee roundtable discussions.

CEDA will continue to closely monitor government advice regarding public gatherings and act on relevant health advice from the Australian government in relation to COVID-19.
