Event overview

Guest speaker Federal Treasury, Assistant Secretary, Budget Policy Division, Adam McKissack, will speak on the Federal Budget 2018, providing an overview of the fiscal and economic strategy of the Budget to be handed down on 8 May. 

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. Meet the speaker

Adam McKissack
Assistant Secretary, Budget Policy Division, Federal Treasury

Adam McKissack is currently Assistant Secretary in the Budget Policy Division of Treasury, where he provides advice to Government on Budget proposals and leads a team that produces the fiscal estimates and Budget publications. In his previous role he led a process of reform of the foreign investment framework.  From 2010 until early 2015 he held the position of Senior Treasury Representative at the Australian Embassy in Beijing.  Adam has held a range of positions during his time in the Australian Treasury and other public sector agencies, including in areas such as macroeconomic forecasting, international engagement, tax and structural reform.
