Event overview

The NT’s population growth has been slowing, however the Territory remains the envy of the country in terms of higher weekly incomes, higher rates of labour force participation and full-time workers, lower unemployment and lower median age. Therefore much of the Strategy focusses on telling the modern Territory story with the aim to secure investment, and attract and retain interstate and international migrants – creating jobs and boosting the economy.

Importantly, the NT Population Growth Strategy also has a focus on healthy communities and enhancing liveability, aiming to increase the opportunities in the Territory and stem the flow of net negative interstate migration.

Join CEDA in this important discussion on putting the NT Population Growth Strategy into action and gain a better understanding of how we can all get involved.

Staff from CEDA member companies can register for free.
