EVENT OVERVIEW

With major transport, health and education projects well underway the Gold Coast seeks to maintain momentum on its economic development strategies and ensure the billion dollar 2018 Commonwealth Games deliver lasting benefit to the city and Queensland.

Newly elected Gold Coast City Mayor, Tom Tate has pledged to broaden the Gold Coast's economic base beyond its cornerstones of tourism and construction. In May this year Nigel Chamier was appointed Chairman of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation to lead the events successful delivery.

At this event speakers will brief on development priorities for the region and provide a timely forecast for business, industry and community.

Gold Coast - investment and legacy is kindly supported by CEDA members Bond University and NAB.
