EVENT OVERVIEW

There is renewed focus on developing the State's strength in tourism, agriculture, resources and construction. Structural change, shifting patterns of employment, new growth sectors and policy shifts are influencing our growth forecasts and defining new possibilities.

At the Queensland Economic Development Forum (QEDF) leading speakers will consider:
The current position and forecasts for Queensland's key sectors;
How Queensland, across its regions, maximises development benefits;
The cross sector impacts and possibilities of structural change;
The contribution of strong regions to the State's economy; and
The productivity gains sectors and regions are working towards.
The QEDF morning session speakers present their expertise and their views before, as a cross sector panel, considering new approaches and taking your questions. The QEDF lunch provides a considered keynote address.
