Event overview

The Queensland Economic Development Forum brings together leaders to build on the strengths of the State’s economy and the capacity for growth in our regions; and to identify the policy drivers for critical development and the right investments for the future. Agribusiness, infrastructure, water, planning, resources and mining, trade and investment are core to Queensland’s economy and the States development. To build a modern economy out of slow growth for these and across all sectors, means moving quickly, redefining industry, applying innovation, reimagining potential, facing risk and making the most of our States strengths.

Join business, government, academia, community and industry from across the State and across the country for CEDA’s 2016 Queensland Economic Development Forum – leading speakers and a frank discussion for the future.

The Queensland Economic Development Forum runs from 10am to 2pm. Morning speakers will be followed by the Deputy Premier’s keynote address, lunch and a moderated panel discussion with questions.
