Event overview

Can we make patient centred care a pillar of Australia’s multi-billion-dollar universal healthcare system?

Reform of this magnitude has transformed disability services. But to equitably meet health consumers’ expectations, focus must shift to preventative over curative care and to patient centric management and funding. Primary healthcare prioritisation, reduction of over diagnosis, over treatment and low value care will be critical; alongside a completely new funding model.

For insight into the impacts for practitioners, educators, service providers, planners and patients, attend this CEDA event and hear from the leaders driving reform in Australia’s health and services systems.

The 2017 Queensland Health series is supported by CEDA members major series sponsors Bond University, HESTA and McCullough Robertson Lawyers.
