EVENT OVERVIEW

With the Murray Darling Basin Plan (MDBP) likely to go before Federal Parliament very shortly and South Australia having a significant win in its Fight for the Murray, the Federal Government is committing to returning 3200 gigalitres of water to the River Murray.

CEDA welcomes Minister for Water and the River Murray, Paul Caica, to deliver the keynote address at CEDA SA's 2012 Water Review.

The event will include a keynote presentation by Premier's Murray Darling Basin Plan Taskforce, Chief Executive, Scott Ashby, who will provide an analysis and understanding of where the MDBP is at and what it means for South Australia.

The event will also be the SA launch of CEDA's final water research publication by Professor John Langford, UniWater, Professor John Briscoe and CEDA's Chief Economist, Nathan Taylor, bringing together two years of research on Australia's water policy and where it fits internationally.

Join this not-to-be-missed event on the future of water security for South Australia.
