Meet the speakers

Richard Dolan
Chief Executive Officer, Wines by Geoff Hardy

Before joining Wines by Geoff Hardy in 2011, Richard worked for 20 years in financial services, including five years as National Operations Manager at Elders Financial Planning. Since taking on the role of CEO at Wines by Geoff Hardy, he has played an essential part in the company’s substantial growth and expansion into new domestic and international markets. This includes significant profit growth and a 280% growth in total revenue, as well as establishing new markets in China, India and other south-east Asian and European countries.

A Yorkshireman by birth and an Australian by choice, Richard, who migrated to Australia as an international student in 2002, holds both an undergraduate degree in International Studies and a Master’s Degree in Business.

Sean Keenihan
Chair, StudyAdelaide

Sean has extensive international engagement experience, with a focus on international competitiveness and a commitment to job creation in South Australia. He is a recognised opinion leader around Australia’s engagement with China with a particular focus on South Australia’s economic transformation through improved trade and investment dealings with China. Sean is the Chair of the Board at Norman Waterhouse and specialises in commercial, infrastructure, property and foreign investment law and transactions. Sean is the National Vice President of the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) and President of the South Australian branch. ACBC provides education and support to businesses seeking out trade and investment opportunities with China.

Sebastian Raneskold
Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), Flinders University

Mr Sebastian Raneskold was appointed to the position of Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) in January 2017 following holding the position in an acting capacity since April 2016.
Previous leadership positions include Executive Director, International Centre at Flinders University, various Director of Marketing roles with the Navitas group, Regional Manager at the University of South Australia, Country Director at IDP Education Australia (Scandinavia) and Coordinator International Programs at Örebro University, Sweden.
Mr Raneskold has extensive and diverse industry experience with a strong track record in strategic business development, marketing and sales, international relations and key stakeholder collaboration.

Leigh McClusky
Managing Director, McCo Group

Leigh McClusky is the Managing Director of McCo Group, a strategic communications and public relations company headquartered in Adelaide.
Working across a broad range of industry sectors, her areas of speciality include crisis communications, advocacy, digital communications, video content production, marketing, media training, and event management.
Prior to establishing her business, Leigh enjoyed a very successful 30-year media career in print, radio and television journalism across Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
