Event overview

As advanced economies across the world transition from being capital-intensive to knowledge-intensive, the importance of intangible assets such as design is growing. The introduction of new products, services, processes and systems can all assist economic growth. Design contributes to increased sales turnover and business competitiveness, as well as enhanced brand awareness and brand loyalty. It is crucial to capitalise on design’s potential to increase exports in both goods and services. Many of South Australia’s successful and innovative businesses understand the value of good design and have integrated it into their services and processes.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. At CEDA boardroom briefings Trustees hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. Chatham House Rule applies.

Trustee event advice - Coronavirus

We at CEDA are proud to regularly convene and engage speakers and audiences as an essential element of our efforts to broaden discussion and debate of the most important policy issues facing Australia. In doing so, our first priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff.

With that in mind, CEDA has postponed all Trustee events until 31 May 2020. However CEDA remains true to its purpose of providing platforms to inform and promote debate of critical issues and driving policy solutions and will continue critical discussions for Australia’s economic, social and environmental development through a digital events program including exclusive livestreams, podcasts and video.

Please contact CEDA if you have any concerns. CEDA is closely monitoring the situation and will promptly act on relevant health advice from the Australian government in relation to COVID-19.
