Meet the keynote lunch speaker
The Hon. Matthew Groom MP
Tasmanian Minister for State Growth
Matthew was elected as the Liberal Member for Denison in 2010 and is a key member of the Tasmanian cabinet. Matthew has over 15 years' of national and international business experience and a specific expertise in renewable energy.
After working as a lawyer in Melbourne and London, Matthew returned to Tasmania in 2004 to take up a position with Hydro Tasmania. In 2005, Matthew was part of a small team that established the Hobart based renewable energy company, Roaring 40s, which ultimately went on to become one of the leading renewable energy companies in the Asia-Pacific.
