EVENT OVERVIEW
Public transport was a key policy platform for the new Victorian Government in the last election. A reliable, safe and efficient public transport system is an important building block for Victoria's continued economic growth, environmental health and social well-being.
At this CEDA event, our expert panellists, including Victorian Transport Secretary, Jim Betts, will take the opportunity to provide strong analysis and commentary into their vision for the future direction of public transport in the State. 'Thinking outside the lines' will help to drive the discussion around ideas for the future of public transport, be it through utilising new technologies, benchmarking against international best practice, infrastructure investments or the trial of new transport mediums.
CEDA's public transport forum provides the opportunity to hear insights from government, business and academic thought leaders about their vision for the future of public transport in Victoria, as we head towards the goal of providing Victorians with a safe, inclusive, effective and efficient transport system.
