Humanity is entering an era of "volatile transitions" as the effects of energy consumption on the environment become increasingly clear. This will impact political decision-making, the economy and the choices people make about the way they live. Effective collaboration between society, politicians and businesses will be vital in positively influencing how these transitions play out.

At a series of CEDA events in Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, Jeremy Bentham, Vice President Global Business Environment at Shell, and the company's global expert on modelling future energy scenarios, will share thoughts around how these transitions may impact the global energy outlook. His presentations will be based on Shell's latest publication "Signals and Signposts" which outlines how governments, business and society may reconsider energy consumption and production scenarios, as the world grapples with tough energy and environmental choices and periods of uncertainty.

We welcome your participation and encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to dialogue with Jeremy Bentham on potential policies to deliver affordable solutions and technological innovations for the future.
