Women and productivity: Addressing workforce participation

CEDA's Women in Leadership Series aims to advance the discussion about women as leaders and explore the gender relations issues facing business and society. The series includes discussion on the changes required to retain women in employment and how to increase women's progression into leadership and senior management positions.

It is important that Australia continues to discuss and promote strategies, actions and policies that will elevate women's workforce representation, for more reasons than just gender equality.

This event will discuss if, and how, women's participation in the workforce is linked to Australia's productivity. While Australia's level of productivity growth has been declining since the mid-1990s, women are still under-represented in the overall job market and leadership roles. Would increased representation of women in the workforce positively affect productivity?

Join CEDA as we look at the barriers to women's progression into leadership and the role of women in addressing workforce participation and productivity in Australia.
