EVENT OVERVIEW

The potential for nuclear power to be part of Australia's energy fuel mix is again up for debate and discussion.

Join CEDA on April 19 to learn the findings of the the National Academies Forum (NAF) report, "Understanding the Formation of Attitudes to Nuclear Power in Australia," from the lead author, Professor Daniela Stehlik.  Dr Vaughan Beck on behalf of the National Academies Forum will introduce NAF's role in commissioning the research, and Michael Angwin of the Australian Uranium Association and Dr Ian Duncan from Energy Ventures Limited will discuss the prospects for the development of nuclear energy in Australia, with reference to international experience.

The event will help educate all of us about what Australians think, and what the realistic prospects are for the development of nuclear power in Australia, at a time when we are continuing to explore possibilities for our future energy mix.
