EVENT OVERVIEW
InfraStructuring Australia is a national series that CEDA is hosting in 2010 to advance discussion and dialogue on Australia's infrastructure agenda. The series, supported by Ernst & Young and Clayton Utz, will examine national and state government policies surrounding infrastructure delivery and encourage debate on the challenges facing Australia.
Western Australia's ports are vital gateways to global export markets. This breakfast event will address the topic of 'Building Sustainable International Gateways'. CEDA is delighted to welcome The Hon Dr Craig Emerson MP, Federal Minister for Competition Policy to give the keynote address on Competition Policy and Implications for Export Infrastructure Development. WA Transport Minister Hon Simon O'Brien MLC will discuss Port Developments in the state, and John Langoulant from Oakajee Port and Rail will give us the view from one of Western Australia's newest major port developments. The speakers will also take audience questions on the challenges of securing the productivity, resource efficiency and competitiveness of Australia's export infrastructure.
