Event overview

Join CEDA as we welcome Australian Human Rights Commission, Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Elizabeth Broderick, to the lectern for Part 1 of Western Australia's inaugural Women in Leadership Series.

Improving female representation is not just a concern for Western Australia, but nationally and globally. We know Australia is lagging behind other OECD countries, essentially highlighting a major productivity and international competitiveness issue. This event will investigate the national gender landscape to help stimulate change and shift ingrained thinking in relation to women in the workforce.

Currently in the national landscape, Western Australia has the lowest levels of female representation in senior management or on boards, and the highest gender pay gap in Australia at 26 per cent.
