Event overview

Emma will provide the keynote address at the first CEDA Copland Future Leaders Sundowner in 2018.  Emma is an experienced international political campaigner starting with Barack Obama in 2008 and working on campaigns across the United States, Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, Canada, and now based with CGM Communications in Western Australia.

In 2017, Emma was the WA State Director for the ‘YES’ marriage equality campaign – the WA campaign delivered the second highest State ‘Yes’ vote in the national survey.

Join Copland Leadership alumni, graduates and attendees to gain greater insights to understanding the power of community engagement in changing communities.  Emma will discuss the role of communication, positivity, respect and dignity in empowering people and will share her tips for best practice in community engagement.
