Dr Vanessa Guthrie, Chair, Minerals Council of Australia

Event overview

The resources sector is the pulse of the WA economy. Coming off a period of low commodity prices and the resultant limited investment, new opportunities are now emerging. Exploration activity has been resurrected by increasing prices in the traditional commodities and demand is on the rise for a host of new resources.

CEDA welcomes Trustees to hear from Minerals Council of Australia Chair, Dr Vanessa Guthrie, at a CEDA Trustee Boardroom Briefing.  Dr Guthrie will outline the current state of the resources sector and lead discussion around the key issues the industry faces, as well as opportunities on offer, in 2018.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. At CEDA boardroom briefings Trustees hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. Chatham House Rule applies.
