Employee engagement in the modern workplace

Employee engagement in the modern workplace

WA
Oct 16
CEDA is delighted to welcome Ashley Dixon to share with Trustees her experiences in utilising technology to build employee engagement and collaboration in one of the state’s most significant utilities.

Speakers

Ashley Dixon, Corporate Communications Manager, Synergy

Event overview

With a large and diverse workforce, Ashley Dixon will speak on the planning, implementation and adoption of Synergy’s new internal company portal. Design-led to maximise employee engagement, the initiative succeeded in opening new two-way communication channels between the business and its employees – including its mobile field workers. In addition to boosting operational efficiencies, the project helped re-engage specific teams back into the business.

As the future of work at front of mind for many organisations, Ashley will share her experiences in implementing these new digital communications channels for Synergy, but also speak more broadly on the opportunities available to organisations in taking advantage of technology to fully engage staff.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA Trustees. Trustees are senior leaders nominated by CEDA member organisations. At CEDA boardroom briefings Trustees hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. Chatham House Rule applies.
