Meet the keynote speaker

Christine Holgate
Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Australia Post

Christine Holgate joined Australia Post as Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director on 30 October 2017, after nearly nine years as the Chief Executive Officer of Blackmores.  She has more than 30 years of diverse international leadership experience in highly regulated industries, including healthcare, media, telecommunications and finance; and more than 20 years of public board experience as either a non-executive director or CEO and has held senior management positions in Asia, the Americas and Australia.

Jodi Cant
Director General, WA Department of Finance

Jodi Cant was appointed Director General of Department of Finance in August 2018. For the two years prior, Jodi was Chief Executive of Landgate, Western Australia’s Land Information Authority.  Under Jodi’s leadership, the business was named Australia’s Most Innovative Government Agency and 19th Most Innovative Business by the Australian Financial Review.

Naveen Unni
Managing Partner, Perth, McKinsey & Company

Naveen Unni is the managing partner in McKinsey & Company’s Perth office. He has worked at McKinsey for over 15 years, the last 6 of which have been in establishing the Perth office and growing it 10x over this period.

He is also a leader of the electric power and organisation practices in Australia. He works with clients in transforming themselves in the face of external disruption. Over the past 6 years, he has delivered over $3bn of annual EBIT improvements for his clients, while making their organisations significantly better.

Anthea Raven
Acting Branch Manager, Strategic Policy Branch, Safe Work Australia

Anthea Raven is the acting Branch Manager of the Strategic Policy Branch at Safe Work Australia. She is responsible for developing policy and guidance relating to workers’ compensation and work health and safety (WHS) and oversees the development of workers’ compensation and WHS data and evidence. Anthea has been with Safe Work Australia since June 2017. She has a background in health services, with over 14 years of experience in key health and social policy areas of the Australian Public Service. These include population health and chronic disease prevention, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, Aged Care Reform and Family Programs Policy.

Diane Smith-Gander AO
Non-Executive Director, Wesfarmers

Diane Smith-Gander is non-Executive director AGL Energy, Wesfarmers Limited, Chair of Safe Work Australia, Asbestos Safety & Eradication Council, a board member of Keystart Loans, Henry Davis York, CEDA and immediate past President of Chief Executive Women, Australia’s pre-eminent women’s advocacy group.  

Diane has held a wide range of non-executive roles in the past including Chairman of Broadspectrum, Deputy Chairperson of NBNCo, non-executive director of the CBH Group, commissioner of Tourism WA and board member of the Committee for Perth.
