Event overview

The Australian gender pay gap is narrowing but women are currently earning 14.1 per cent less than their male colleagues.

Wealth accumulation for women is slowed by career breaks, a lack of flexible work options on returning to the workforce and streaming women into roles that do not advance their career.

Ultimately, the gender pay gap and structural barriers in the workforce culminate in women retiring with approximately half the superannuation of men. Older women are now the fastest growing group of homeless Australians.

What can organisations do to assist their current female employees and the future workforce and how do we address inequalities facing older women including age discrimination and the superannuation gap?

Join CEDA for this important discussion.
