Meet the speakers

Debbie Mills
General Manager - Financial Wellbeing Tribe, Bankwest

Debbie Mills is a key member of Bankwest's senior leadership group within the Customer Experience division. As Bankwest's General Manager, Financial Wellbeing, Debbie leads a tribe of over 100 people whose focus is on creating amazing experiences that support and improve the financial wellbeing of our customers.
Debbie has worked in financial services across the world including the UK, Spain, South America and now Australia. Prior to Bankwest her roles have included Integration Director for the Lloyds TSB and Halifax merger program in Spain, Personal Markets Director of Lloyds TSB Spain and Commercial Director for Lloyds TSB Paraguay.

Mark Payne
Executive Manager of Enterprise Agility, Bankwest

Almost 10 years ago Mark was introduced to agile and he hasn’t wanted to do anything else except make agile a success. Over the past few years he has been able to bring together his passions for working agile and large-scale change by co-designing, implementing, embedding Bankwest’s enterprise agile delivery and operating model to transform Bankwest’s traditional ways of working.
Mark is a strong leader with 20 plus years of experience who can connect strategy with reality through the hands-on implementation of successful change. With experience across technology, finance and health insurance industries he has led large teams up to 75 people strong.
With superior analytical skills he has delivered organisational benefits, using agile, customer experience design, IT solutions and business operating model change to solve customer and business problems.
