Can you tell us a little bit about Davidson?

Davidson is a national Recruitment and HR Consulting business. Our specialist recruitment areas cover Executive and Boards, Technology, Projects and Operations, Corporate; and HR and Technology Consulting. Working closely with clients and candidates in the public and private sector, we develop teams and structures, define and refine processes and set in place the systems, behaviours and culture needed for ongoing success.  We use data-led measures to ensure your team are the exact fit and together will drive productivity, build culture and enhance workplace performance. We focus on the productivity of people, teams and organisations.
It is this holistic and forward-thinking approach that sees us consistently deliver outstanding results for our valued clients and candidates. .

What is your role with the company?

My role is National Group Manager for our Executive and Boards business. I work with, and lead teams in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Our team of micro-specialists have extensive experience leading Board, CEO and senior searches in various sectors including State and Local Government; Health; Construction and Property; Commerce and Family business. I am passionate about positively impacting the number of females in leadership positions, particularly on Boards and in the public sector. My team and I recently launched the highly successful Top 50 Public Sector Women initiative in Victoria as a way of shining a light on the exceptional female leaders in Victoria’s Public Sector.  We are running this again in 2018 in both VIC and NSW.


What are your company's top priorities for the coming year? 

Moving into 2018, our priorities across the Executive and Boards business are to:

  • Continue sustainable growth in each of our markets in both the public and private sectors.
  • Develop leadership capacity in Executives and emerging Executives through training initiatives
  • Nurture and develop Executive Board capacity through our extensive talent communities
  • Assist organisations identify and unearth the best talent to help shape the future of their organisation
  • Utilise proven assessment tools to help our clients identify and nurture the best talent available inside and outside their organisation
  • Continue to play a positive role in supporting female leaders achieve their leadership potential.

What type of CEDA activities matter most to you and your company?

We have had a wonderful experience connecting with the CEDA Trustee community. Our Trustees have particularly enjoyed the connections made and learning opportunities within the private boardroom briefings. Topics of keen interest to Davidson Executive & Boards are the Future World of Work; Economic forecasts, and hearing from Government leaders as they socialise proposed policy reforms.
