"CEDA is delighted to announce that Ms Rogers will be taking up this leadership position with CEDA, starting 23 May 2016,” CEDA Chief Executive, Professor the Hon. Stephen Martin said.
“Ms Rogers brings a wealth of experience in business development and communications with previous roles at Baptistcare WA, Minter Ellison, Squire Patton Boggs and The West Australian and is already well known by many in the WA business community.
“Ms Rogers' experience will ensure CEDA can continue to deliver a program of high quality public policy events to CEDA members in WA.
“CEDA WA has gone from strength to strength in the last few years and I’m sure Ms Rogers will be able to build on that momentum.
“Ms Rogers’ focus initially will be to meet with the wide cross section of CEDA members in WA to ensure we continue to deliver debate on the topics most important to the business community.
“I would like to thank outgoing CEDA WA State Director Liz Ritchie for her tremendous contribution to CEDA and wish her luck in her new role with Westpac.”
Ms Rogers said it was an exciting time to be joining CEDA.
“The WA economy is in a transition period following the end of the mining construction boom. Now more than ever it is important that CEDA WA delivers analysis and debate to ensure the business community is equipped with the right information to tackle these challenges and embrace opportunities,” Ms Rogers said.
