Building a stronger Medicare: the Hon. Mark Butler

"Five years from now, I hope that Medicare will be better connected and digitally enabled...that it will be delivered by health teams and underpinned by blended funding models with a strong beating heart of bulk billing."

On the eve of Medicare’s 40th anniversary, the Hon. Mark Butler, Federal Minister for Health and Aged care, addressed CEDA's Melbourne audience about the reform agenda for the Albanese Labor Government in building a stronger Medicare. The Minister provided an update on new Medicare investments announced in the Budget, including 60-day-perscriptions, MyMedicare and new rebates.
