Our Marketing team is expanding, and a new opportunity exists for a Digital Marketing Coordinator on a 3-month fixed-term contract (with possible extension) arrangement in a full-time capacity located in our Melbourne CBD office (we will also consider other CEDA capital cities for the right candidate). This role is vital in supporting the Marketing communications team in delivering digital communications and marketing projects and campaigns. Reporting to the Associate Director Strategic Marketing (and with a daily line into the Manager of Brand & Content), this role assists in developing up-to-date marketing content for different multimedia platforms, delivery of campaigns, and maintenance of website/social media content, as well as preparing marketing reports.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong foundational digital marketing skills and excellent writing ability, enabling you to assist in delivering integrated campaigns, content development, email marketing, copywriting and targeted social media messaging and activation. Your collaborative nature, and highly regarded internal and external stakeholder management are key to building strong relationships to ensure the successful delivery of the marketing program of work. 

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Assisting in the implementation of digital marketing campaigns to enhance CEDA’s online/digital presence.
• Assisting in the development of compelling content relevant to CEDA’s programs and activities on social media platforms, EDM’s and CEDA’s website.
• Utilising digital tools and analytics to generate reports and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. 
• Coordinating processes and content changes for CEDA’s social media channels and the website. 
• Assisting in copywriting, image selection, and general content curation to develop engaging marketing communications.
• Assisting in setting up paid social media and google AdWords campaigns, as well as identifying new targeted opportunities for paid channels. Optimising campaign performance and monitoring key metrics.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners/suppliers to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Including preparing briefs and working on campaigns with external creative agencies.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their marketing and communication needs and objectives.
• Coordinating marketing plans and schedules for day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of projects. 
• Creating and updating CEDA Marketing collateral and assets of all types as required.

You’ll love this role if you are:

• Have 3–5 years of experience in a Digital led Marketing or Corporate Affairs coordinator role 
• Have strong foundational digital marketing skills, including preparing marketing plans, content development and delivering integrated campaigns to targeted segments, ideally in a B2C or B2B environment. 
• Have excellent writing and language skills and ability to generate targeted social media messaging, eDM’s and website content. 
• Have demonstrated experience working within a website CMS and an email marketing platform, including copywriting and general content curation. 
• Have the ability to use and navigate basic Photoshop, Indesign, AfterFX and Canva would be an advantage. 
• Have experience setting up paid social media, AdWords and remarketing campaigns. 
• Adept stakeholder management and relationship skills 
• A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Interested in current and emerging public policy issues.
