The future of mental health support and services

One in 16 Australians – or 1.16 million people – are currently experiencing depression. This is an extraordinary number and one expected to grow with the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. Apart from the human toll, the impact on the economy and on businesses is troubling.

At Federal and State Government levels there have been reviews and royal commissions into addressing mental health support and services, and no doubt many organisations and communities are also doing their own work. How do we come together to develop a holistic approach to providing support to those suffering from mental health episodes, and developing strategies to stop mental health problems before they take hold?

Join CEDA’s expert panel to discuss the way forward.
