Big Issues survey

An annual survey that provides a snapshot of the business community’s views on the critical policy choices ahead.

Each year, CEDA surveys members and the policy community to identify the main challenges facing Australian business and governments.

The results play an important role in developing CEDA's research and policy agenda and options for government.

The Big Issues survey aims to capture a snapshot of the business community’s views on the critical policy choices ahead.

In addition to benchmarking questions on policy priorities such as international competitiveness and tax reform, this year the survey also focuses on the service sector, disruption and welfare.

Big issues 2017

Delivering secure reliable energy is more important than lowering the cost and environmental factors but opinions on the best energy policies to deliver this were divided, in CEDA’s 2017 Big Issues survey.

The annual survey aims to capture a snapshot of the business community’s views on the big issues for 2018. In addition to energy policy, this year’s survey covered inequality, housing affordability and tax reform.
