Social services reform

Professor Peter Shergold AC, Chancellor of the University of Western Sydney, says that social services reform needs to empower citizens to make decisions for themselves, to choose the services they need and to select the providers they want. He also says that Governments need to have the courage to implement consumer directed care with as few constraints as possible.
