CEDA's 4th annual Climate and Energy Summit brought together 300+ senior leaders from government, industry and academia at a pivotal moment in Australia’s transition. Held in Melbourne, the event explored how Australia can chart a credible pathway to 2035 and beyond, with discussions spanning decarbonisation, energy system transformation, climate adaptation and the nation’s green energy advantage.

Matt Kean; Chief Executive Officer Clean Energy Council, the Hon. Across the day, a clear theme emerged: achieving net zero will require coordinated action across markets, communities and institutions, alongside innovation and long-term commitment. This aligns strongly with CEDA’s Progress 2050 vision, which also positions climate adaptation and the energy transition as central to Australia’s long-term prosperity and resilience.
