Martin Luther King III on Indigenous talent and the link to Australian economic prosperity

"Diversity is not an obligation, it's a competitive advantage."

CEDA was proud to host a landmark discussion with Martin Luther King III and Australian leaders in Sydney, on inclusive leadership, First Nations talent and economic participation, in partnership with CareerTrackers.

Following Mr King's keynote address, he was joined on stage by a panel of experts and leaders, including:
- Ben Wyatt, Former WA Treasurer and Non Executive Director
- The Hon. Linda Burney, Former Minister for Indigenous Australians
- Renee Wootton Tomlin, Founder & CEO, New Era Energy
- Adam Davids, CEO and Managing Director, CareerTrackers
- Melinda Cilento, Chief Executive, CEDA

The message of the day was clear: Australia’s future prosperity depends on unlocking the full potential of First Nations talent. This is a topic CEDA will continue to drive through the long-term 'Progress 2050' agenda, which works towards a stronger economy and social compact for all Australians.
