On 1st May, CEDA hosted the 2025 Climate and Energy Summit in Melbourne, which saw over 300 key policy makers, heads of industry and thought leaders come together to discuss challenges, innovation and solutions to progressing Australia's energy transition and net zero goals.

Audiences heard from speakers including, Australian Energy Market Operator CEO and MD, Daniel Westerman; VIC Minister for Climate Action, Energy and Resources, the Hon. Lily D'Ambrosio and Climate Change Authority CEO, Brad Archer; VicGrid CEO, Alistair Parker; The Superpower Institute Director, Professor Ross Garnaut AC and Executive Director and Global Green Ambassador, Fortescue, Elizabeth Gaines.
