CEDA is pleased to announce that is has appointed Mr Robert Fuller as its new State Director in Queensland.
Robert brings to CEDA extensive senior level experience in business and policy issues - including that gained from previous senior roles as Chief Executive Officer of the Newcastle Master Builders Association and most recently, as the NSW General Manager and National Operations Manager for the Printing Industry Association of Australia. Earlier in his career, Robert worked for Honeywell Engineering and BP Australia. He has a degree in Commerce from Newcastle University.
Robert has well developed skills in facilitating and promoting public policy debate through forums and events, a good knowledge of the needs and drivers of membership organisations such as CEDA and a broad knowledge of and affinity for Queensland policy issues. He also brings national and international perspectives through his experience as member of the national committee responsible for delivering national and international conferences for the Master Builders Association and from leading Australian business delegations on oversees visits.
CEDA's Chief Executive, David Byers said that CEDA was delighted to have appointed a person of Robert's quality to continue the good work of previous Queensland State Director, David Edwards. Robert will also be a member of CEDA's National Leadership Team.
"We look forward to Robert continuing to build our profile and presence in Queensland. I am confident he will provide strong leadership to our Queensland team and make a great contribution to CEDA's national agenda," he said.
Robert will start his new role in mid October 2009.
